| opera, classical tunes, playful sounds, and seasonal selections. It is never the same show twice, so you can catch this attraction several times during your stay and always be amazed. To get the most of the dramatic effects, visit the fountains at night when an amazing light show also adds to the dramatic effects.
To get a combination of a great view and some heart racing thrill rides, you will want to see the Stratosphere Tower. The tower is a hundred stories above the ground, allowing you quite the view of the strip and all the sights below. If that is not exciting enough, you can also enjoy a variety of thrill rides, including the Big Shot, X Scream, and High Roller roller coaster.
To get a safe version of one of Mother Natures most spectacular events, you will want to see the Volcano at the Mirage. The real life spectacle of an exploding volcano would be much too dangerous to view, so this manmade version offers you all the earth shaking, smoke, and flames in a controlled environment. If you are near the Mirage between 7 PM and midnight you will want to stop by and view the explosion.
If you would like a little romance in your life, but cannot afford the plane ticket to Paris, then you can get your own experience at the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel and Casino. Las Vegas version is the scale of the real thing. Travel the 460 feet to the top and you will get a breath taking panoramic view of Las Vegas, making it a great picture spot for your scrap book. If you are looking for a romantic dinner for two or just a beautiful view of the city at night, consider reserving a table at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant for dinner one of your nights there.
For history buffs, nothing can match the mystery of ancient Egypt. At the Luxor, you can tour a recreation of King Tutankhamuns tomb. The real thing was discovered in Egypt in 1922, and all the golden splendor has been recreated for your enjoyment. If you hit it big at the slots, you might find some inspiration there for spending the dough. There is also a 15 minute self guided audio tour explaining the view. Go during dinner time for the most privacy and lack of crowds.
These are just some of the favorite attractions to see while you are in Las Vegas. If none of these sounds exactly like what you are looking for, you can talk to your travel agent or hotel concierge about other great things to see and do. Remember that schedules and viewing times will vary depending on the season and the day of the week, and some Las Vegas attractions require advance ticket purchases or reservations, so it is helpful to plan your schedule out ahead of time to ensure that you are able to get in all that you want to see.
