Relocating to Vegas A Few Statistics to Keep You Informed

Las Vegas has one of the hottest real estate markets in the United States. For a while California
threatened to steal its thunder, but with home prices on a slight decline in Los Angeles and other
California areas, Las Vegas is once again the home of hot properties. Many are selling their pricey
homes in other locations and moving to famed Las Vegas. Of course, they do not want to live right where
the gambling is happening, but they want to be close enough to the action. Add to this the many
wonderful attractions Nevada has to offer, and it is not surprising that many are relocating to Vegas.
If you are considering such a move, here are a few statistics to keep you informed:

If you like the desert climate, then

living in and around Las Vegas will be a perfect experience for
you! Sunshine is a given year round, and rainfall is extremely rare. Temperatures may be as high as 100
F in the height of summer, and as low as 40 F in the winter.

Since the 1970s, when the population numbers of Las Vegas finally exceeded the 100,000 mark, the
influx of residents has continued and today there are more than 600,000 who live in the city. If you are
ready to pick up your belongings and move to a booming metropolis where there is no end in sight to the
number of people living there, then Las Vegas will most certainly be your destination of choice.

surrounding areas!

Industries that are hot for incoming new residents in need of work are of course gaming, dining, and
retail. Yet it is a lesser known fact that legal services are also in a state of upswing, and graduating
law students, experienced paralegals, and legal secretaries will be sure to also find a large market for
gainful employment. Considering the fact that many marriage vows are made in Las Vegas, only to be
broken again the following day, divorce lawyers are earning top dollars. Bail bondsmen, tax attorneys,
and business legal consultants are also in highest demand.

Another well kept secret is the fact that more and more technology industries are moving their
headquarters to the Las Vegas area. The draw for companies that manufacture gambling equipment is of
course understandable. After all, with new casinos being planned and built, someone will need to not
only supply the gaming machines, but also keep them updated, in working condition, and be ready to
supply bigger, better and newer technologies for those who are streaming to Sin City for the latest thrills.

As you can see, there are many industries in and around the city of Las Vegas that promise employment
and subsequent homeownership to many. Many other states do not have the burgeoning economy that Vegas
can boast, but are instead experiencing significant slowdowns which in turn slams the door to
homeownership into the faces of many. Yet did you know that it is not only those in search of a career
and money who are looking for relocate to Las Vegas, but also retirees who are selling their high priced
homes elsewhere and then move to Las Vegas and purchase a home outright with cash. This makes the
retirement dollar stretch much further than it would anywhere else!

Thus, if you are ready to relocate to sunny Las Vegas, get in touch with a reputable real estate agent
early on. Learn about the different kinds of neighborhoods and what their individual charms are, so that
you will not be unpleasantly surprised. In addition to the foregoing, bring your sense of adventure
